The ground rules of PAKT

Welcome to PAKT. By using the app you agree to these terms. We keep them short and in plain English.

1. What PAKT is

PAKT is a mobile app for planning group trips: packing lists, expense splitting, planning, and crew management. We distribute the app via the Apple App Store and (later) the Google Play Store.

2. Account

• You need to be 18+ or have parental consent to create an account.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Magic-link logins go to your registered email — keep that secure.
• One account per person, please.

3. Pricing

• PAKT costs €14.99 one-time — a lifetime in-app purchase via Apple.
• No subscription. No hidden fees. No ads.
• Apple's own purchase and refund policy applies to the IAP.
• We reserve the right to add new premium features in the future at a higher lifetime price for new users; existing lifetime users keep access to what they already bought.

4. What you can't do

• Don't upload illegal content (hate speech, CSAM, violence, harassment).
• Don't attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or overload the app.
• Don't scrape other users' data.
• Don't send spam invitations to people you don't know.
• Don't impersonate others.

5. Your content

All content you put in PAKT (trip names, packing list items, expense descriptions, photos) remains your property. We don't claim any rights to it.

By sharing content with crew members you implicitly give them permission to see it within the context of that trip.

6. Our content

The PAKT app, vintage-stamp illustrations, design, and the name "PAKT" are property of Solvt. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the app — not to copy or resell it.

7. Service level

• PAKT is provided "as-is" — we don't guarantee 100% uptime.
• We do our best to fix bugs quickly.
• Outages at our provider (Supabase) are outside our control.
• We may run maintenance which temporarily takes the app offline.

8. Termination

• By you: you can delete your account anytime via Profile → Delete account. Lifetime IAP is non-refundable outside Apple's 14-day policy.
• By us: we may suspend or delete your account for abuse (see section 4). We'll notify you by email.
• On termination: your own data is removed. Data from trips you were a co-member of is anonymized (see privacy policy).

9. Liability

We do our best to keep the app reliable, but we're not liable for:

• Lost packing items, forgotten tasks, or trips that go wrong despite PAKT.
• Data loss due to outages outside our control (datacenter, internet, phone crash).
• Indirect damages (missed vacation, financial loss due to incorrectly split expenses, etc.).

Our total liability in all cases is limited to the amount you paid (€14.99).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced via an in-app banner + email. If you disagree with the new terms you can delete your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are first raised with us via email. If we can't resolve them, the Dutch courts have jurisdiction.
